    Body Talk System

    Body Talk System

Body talk is another modality that takes the holistic view to health incorporating all aspects of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Body talk programs and techniques assist the body in releasing body memories and habits which create tension and inflammation as well as providing relief from aches and pains.

    Bowen Therapy

    Bowen Therapy

The main focus of Bowen Therapy is to help the body re set itself by treating the cause of problems and not the symptoms. The holistic remedial body technique works on the soft connective tissue (fascia) of the body. Practitioners treat neurological problems and musculoskeletal injuries or maladies by way of gentle massage techniques.

At the core of Bowen therapy is the idea that the connective tissues influence every organ and tissue in the body and that by way of non forceful, gentle massage these pathways can be stimulated, shifting blockages and allowing the free flow of life force energy which in turn promotes healing in the body.

    Rosen Method

    Rosen Method

Rosen method refers to techniques developed by Marion Rosen. These techniques are primarily a series of movements designed to help patients improve their range of motion and increase breathing capacity.

The Rosen practitioner provides gentle, direct, non-manipulative touch to bring awareness to tension in the body, isolating those muscles that are tight and continuously cause pain and discomfort.

At the core of this modality is the idea that muscle has memory and unconscious feelings and emotions can be trapped by tense muscles. That by introducing good breathing practices and subtle massage techniques, muscle tension can be released. Leaving patients feeling invigorated with a greater sense of well-being.

Sessions last from fifty to sixty minutes and in the first stages of therapy are usually more frequent. Of course the number and frequency of the sessions depend upon the goals set by the ractitioner and patient.

Many patients seek the Rosen method of therapy because of its reputation for getting results in dealing with diverse maladies like chronic fatigue , headaches, arthritis, back pain and stress . It is also used to treat hypertension, insomnia, asthma, allergies, colic and osteoarthritis and is said to be a beneficial modality to address issues of emotional and spiritual growth.
